Powder Room Project I

You may have seen hints of me scraping off ceiling texture or wallpapering, so I'm going to show you what I'm up to with a recent Powder Room project.

It began like this, desperately in need of a makeover from 15 years ago. I had done a faux painting treatment on the walls to look like saddle leather...I am so over it, and these pictures seal the deal.(so
embarassing!)

This is my plan.

Stay tuned these next few weeks to see the transformation while we link up with the ORC party at  Calling It Home.

  8. Oh my goodness, those walls will be amazing!! I was behind a couple at Home Depot paint counter the other day and the husband was trying to talk his wife into sponge painting! Brought back memories of the days of faux wall treatments. :)

  24. I had to laugh when I saw the horse print on your "before" pic because my mom found an old print of mine that looks EXACTLY like that one under a bed in their house and called me today to see if I wanted it. So you aren't alone with a history of '90s equestrian decorating :-) Your inspiration board looks fabulous!
