Simple and Curated

The post about Key Elements is exemplified in these shots of a living room by designer Kelly McGuill. ( Check out her blog: OSOD! ) She has brought nature indoors, has a quiet luxury feel, and is perfectly curated.  'Nuff said, just enjoy...

Oh, and do I see natural elements, neutral tones and saddle brown leather- LOVE.

How do you feel about the lack of window treatments?

Make the most of your day!

  1. Loving the white walls with all the wood. Naked windows rule!

  2. Love the simple style but I would have to add bamboo shades and possibly white linen curtains.

  3. Kelly is local to me and I had the pleasure of meeting her in person and visiting her gorgeous house a few months ago. She's not only super talented, she's beautiful AND extremely nice.

I love her use of scale. Look at how large the table and lamp are next to the leather sofa. I think that must break a rule but it works beautifully.

It's nice to see so many people connecting with her work. I'm a huge fan!

  4. Oh, my!! Thanks for the introduction, perfect mix of styles! I have the same windows and have never put any treatments up (15 years) and I love it! I was thinking I might be ready for a change, but this could make me think not!

  8. beautiful!
You know Nancy how much of a fan I am with curtain-less windows! Well, our home kinda made me one and because they are ginormous, I think it will cost a fortune putting curtains on them! So I accepted them as it is. :-)

  9. I keep changing my mind on this one. I don't have a lot of window treatment in my home. Then I see a room with fantastic window treatment, and change my mind, again.
