Never tired of blue and white

Bethany and I are busy bees these days. We are currently painting her master bedroom for her One Room Challenge, and we have several new decorating clients we are meeting with this week!

As you may know, I have a lot of blue and white in my home and I collect blue and white Chinese porcelains.  I think Bethany's last count was 60 pieces around my house.  Obsessed much?  I love pattern and color and they happen to have both.

Here are some of my favorite designers and the use of bold pattern and blues.

I use a lot of blue in my home as well:

It's blazing hot here; a lot of my neighbors are still without power from the extreme storms last Friday evening. We have lots of trees down, 2 of them toppled our pasture fence, but there are many stories more tragic than mine. My heart and prayers go out to those dealing with the storm damage and heat.

Wouldn't we all just like to lounge at a pool like this one right about now?

We have a lot to show you in the coming days, and a giveaway, too so stay tuned. Have a wonderful week!

I can't help but wonder about all of the folks around us without power in this sweltering heat. I am so thankful for my electricity right now.

  10. I do love it myself! I don't so much use it on the walls or fabrics, but I have a long and growing collection of blue & white porcelain - and it looks good everywhere! Have a happy 4th, ladies!
