I'm not ready for summer to end...

I am feeling like I am missing the boat.  My beach vacation is still 2 weeks away and it feels like forever!  I can't wait to stare at the ocean and check out all my favorite beach haunts.

Thank goodness for the adventures of my blog friends. I have so enjoyed the trips of fellow bloggers and love their posts on Ireland, by the Relished Roost,  Heather's on-going summer in Paris by Habitually Chic,  Germany by Cuckoo 4 Design , My Notting Hill's trip to London, Greece and Italy, Stephanie Kraus's trip to Spain, Loi's new hometown of Castine, Maine from Tone on Tone, Phyllis, of Henhurst Interior's trip to Scandanavia on IG and scads of beach trips.

You can check out the Pinterest account of Jennifer Campbell for remarkable photos of Europe.

If you yearn for European adventure, and have some time to spare to read all the travels on Anita's link party, you will feel like you escaped for a bit.

So, for now I am enjoying our home, pets and pool while working on some client design projects.

I hope you're doing something fun.  Do you still have a vacation on the horizon?
Happy Summer!

  1. Nancy I had hoped for a longer summer, and as I am going in for surgery this Wednesday and then rehab. I am planning on September being a continuation of Indian Summer here in Kansas City...perhaps I will make it down to the lake for a few days of R & R! Enjoy and relish your time!

  5. I am not ready for summer to end either! Luckily in NJ the kids don't go back to school until after Labor Day. We still have a few more beach trips left!
