Pushing the tile limits

Is this wallpaper?  After seeing this Loom Jewel Glass Mosaic made out of

Quartz, Aquamarine, Tanzanite and Turquoise, I about died.  New Ravenna is my new crush!

New Ravenna mosaic tile is increasingly making headlines in the design industry and they're made in Virginia! (sadly about 5 hours from me on the Eastern Shore, but I would love to tour the plant one day).  These hand made works of art are truly amazing.  Feast your eyes on these designs!

Plaid tile?
They have stock mosaic tile or customizable, unique designs-- with your choice of stone colors, or you can create your own!
You just have to check out their website...prepare to be amazed.
I'm dreaming of a new backsplash and need to bring some of these samples home.
Have a lovely weekend.

  2. I saw these mosaics for the first time last year, on a blog or Pinterest or somewhere, and I practically drooled on my keyboard as I scrolled through the offerings on their web site. It would be interesting to try some of these with stock tiles. The plaid would be pretty easy to do with stock square, liner, and dot tiles. The herringbone has me thinking about subway tile and half-inch pearly mosaic tiles. I adore the swirly leaf pattern most of all ... no stock alternative for that that I'm aware of.
