We really do have kitchens on the brain, cause we both want new ones. Here's an image I found today from William Hefner. I really favor the mixing in of natural wood elements. I love these two rooms. What do you think?

Nancy I'm with you two on having kitchens on the brain….all the time. I just posted about two-tone kitchens last week and after looking at my (gazillions) of inspiration pictures on Pinterest, I'm loving the mix of an island or lower cabinets being a contrast color to white cabinets. One of my all time favorites is one I pinned from your blog - an all white kitchen with a huge wood island to warm it all up.
ReplyDeleteI would love to re-do my kitchen too...and I would go with all white (and dark wood floors)...it may be boring but it is still my fave.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day! xoxo
I'm loving the wood tones in this kitchen ... modern and rustic. I think I might want to learn to cook in here!! xo
ReplyDeleteLoving the contrasts of dark and light wood tones. That view is beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love a mix of elements in kitchens!!!!! What a difference they can make!
ReplyDeleteBig Yes! Love natural wood and I think it's a great neutral to work with - mixing other finishes with it won't be a problem at all!
ReplyDeleteI must have wood cabinets. Must. Have.
ReplyDeleteOh this kitchen is fab Nancy I love it!

I've had that second photo in my kitchen foil for a little bit. I love those windows. In the end, through, this kitchen doesn't feel East Coast to me. Still beautiful to look at.
ReplyDeleteI love them, they are different yet clean and crisp!! THe choice of wood here is key to keeping this so fresh and current, great post!!!
