the Native American trend

I have been seeing a nod to the Native Americans at every turn lately. I'm guessing Indian motifs are the new Kuba cloths.

OKL recently tipped their caps to the microtrend, too, featuring wares like this painting.

So what do you say?  I say 'yes!'... but sparingly.  I think it's quite a nice tribute to the original owners of our great country!

  7. Beautiful rooms with very unique looks, but it's not my thing!
I do love the warmth that handmade objects of this sort bring to a home and so admire the tradition and the skill involved. Amazing.

  12. I hadn't noticed this trend but love your examples and think those that live in New Mexico or other western states are more familiar with it than others. Would love it if I had a mountain cabin but then again, would love anything if I had a mountain cabin!
