So what do you say? I say 'yes!'... but sparingly. I think it's quite a nice tribute to the original owners of our great country!

My friends mom collects amazing traditional Native American paintings. I love them! Great post.
ReplyDeleteI say "Yes!" but I live in Denver, Colorado.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, yes, but with a deft hand! Adds a layer of interest!
ReplyDeleteagreee with you Bethany, a YES for me too but like you said, sparingly. :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree completely...a little goes a long way...I can drag out some of my baskets & blankets!
ReplyDeleteI little does go along way! R.L does this look well...I do have some original rugs and baskets, but there tucked away in a closet...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rooms with very unique looks, but it's not my thing!
ReplyDeleteI do love the warmth that handmade objects of this sort bring to a home and so admire the tradition and the skill involved. Amazing.
Love the trend and the images.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny, I just noticed some items on Pinterest that are Native American-themed. I think you're onto something!
ReplyDeleteI've lived in my navajo blanket inspired sweater all winter long. I love the look!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you...use it yes...but sparingly. Very nice inspiration and makes one think....Now following you.
ReplyDeleteoh I love it! Sparingly like you say is the best way so it looks sophisticated. You gathered beautiful inspiration here.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed this trend but love your examples and think those that live in New Mexico or other western states are more familiar with it than others. Would love it if I had a mountain cabin but then again, would love anything if I had a mountain cabin!
ReplyDeleteSince my great great grandmother was Cherokee, hardly a trend to me.
ReplyDeleteFeels like home to me. :)
