Have another...

Our Bunco groups' been enjoying the likes of Corona punch for a long time, but recently I found a new variation and had to share!

Ingredients
1 cup of fresh raspberries or frozen
4 bottles of corona (12oz) beer, chilled
1 container frozen raspberry lemonade concentrate, thawed or pink lemonade
1/2 cup good quality vodka
Garnish: lemon slices, or raspberries.
adapted from Southern Living

Method
In a large container stir together the  first 4 ingredients. Serve over ice.
Garnish with raspberries.
To make ahead, stir together lemonade concentrate and vodka in a large container.    Stir in raspberries and beer just before serving. Garnish, if desired.

The traditional version we are used to imbibing mimics a margarita.  Frozen margarita concentrate with Coronas.  But this newbie is made with raspberry lemonade concentrate and frozen raspberries and blows the other cocktail right out of the water!!  We made it for New Years Eve and had quite the reception to it. I know it's hard to think summery in the dead of winter, but this is seriously easy peasy and the best tasting cocktail you've had in a while.

Now, I know what you're thinking.  I thought it too.  Coronas?  Yep.  Just try it.  It's AMAZING.  And PS - I wanted to lessen the alcohol content, so I skipped the vodka.  It was delicious.

  1. The last time I was back home (in the sticks), my brother made some mean frozen Corona margaritas from the gas-powered blender on the back of his pickup. They were awesome!

    My friends don't believe me.

  8. This sounds wonderful. I don't like the taste of beer but with the raspberry lemonade, I probably would.
