Art Tour Series VIII: OKL

I'm not talking about Oklahoma, I'm talking today about the ART FAIR at One King's Lane today. You don't have to leave your home to view talented artists and be able to purchase original art at an affordable price!  Today our tour is highlighting these diverse artists.

The first group are the Advante Garde artists:  Jennifer Ament, Luli Sanchez, Ben Giles, Elizabeth Grubaugh and James Meyer. Their work is graphic and spatial. Here are some highlights:

The Naturals are artists who bring the outdoors in: Bob Francis, Kathleen Martin,Kevin Russ, Liz Invar and Ry Smith.

Then there are the really high priced "famous" artists featured at OKL called the Modern Classics, like Andy Warhol, Paul Jenkins, Jacque Villon, Sam Francis, Calder, Keith Haring, Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Miro, Karen Appel and a host of others I hope you'll enjoy.

The figurative Observationist artists represented are Jane Feil, Jessica Durrant,Julietta Leon,Kathleen Hope, Lee Viner, Samantha Hahn and Samantha French (I did a post on her).

The Collectors section features authentic original Picassos, Miros, Matisse, Renoir, Rembrandt, Chagall..oh my! The REAL deal folks and brought to your doorstep by a reputable company.

(Did I ever mention that if I had a million dollars, or two,  I would like to collect art--the kind I can't afford now?)

The iconic Joseph Albers, the father of Color, has a collection here for sale as well.

The Bright Young Things will surely make any room 'pop' and these artists are Michelle Armas, Lindsay Cowles , Rai Alexandra, Jen Garrido,Jennifer Latimer, Deb Haugen, Bernard Dunaux and Julian Rapp.

There is most certainly art for every taste and style at this One King's Lane sale that ends Sunday 11/4.
I love to learn of new artists, while reviewing the past and the most influential artists of all time.
If you're an art lover, it's worth a look!

  1. This is the kind of thing that I can never decide whether or not to look. If I don't look then I won't want things I can't have but I might miss seeing some new things.
