Styling the entry

I don't know about you, but nothing has a permanent home in my house, it is all a revolving arrangement.  The other day Bethany and I played with my entry.  I plan on doing some sort of tone on tone stencil for a subtle pattern on the wall to dress it up a bit, but for now this was fun playing with accessories. Here are the many different looks of my entry:

Entries I am inspired by:

                                                                      1/2/3/4/5/6

I see a pattern here... I like a bit more bold statement in the entry. I have a facing wall that has a large framed picture which is going to be switched out with a huge mirror of some kind. I absolutely love Sherry of Design Indulgence's look she did for a client here:

 I'm on the hunt, again.

  2. I also love to rearrange things, that's the beauty of accessories - you can can feel like you have something new when you didn't have to buy anything at all!

  3. First of all...I love your color! It's a great space and one that you have room to really change up as you wish from time to time...good for the brain. I love your texture..the branches, the corks, the throw...all of it say...welcome to my very cool life and home!

  4. I love a dramatic entry too...I am so tempted to paint/stain my entry floor something dramatic...have done it before in other homes and I always love it! I just have to decide on exactly WHAT! I love that there are others out there that "play" with merchandising a space like I do...:)

  8. I love #3 of yours. As for the inspiration, I am obsessed with an all white entry with a splash of color from the rug and art.

  14. So much fun to play around with styling! I think I like your version with the manzanita branch, the art and orange vase the best, but they're all pretty. And your inspiration pics are pretty fabulous too!
