Inspired by my boy, Loi, I've been on a conservatory kick lately. It would an end-all-be-all dream of mine to have one in my home one day… keep dreaming, gurl. In my quest to make a Pinterest folder of cool conservatories, I see that a good conservatory is hard to find. So true of the important things in life, right?
And I'm not talkin' sunroom people.
I'm talking straight-up botanical garden business.
And if I can't have a conservatory one day - can I at least have the leaded-glass steel windows?
I'll leave you to think about this for the weekend. Anyone have any fun plans, by the way? Hope you have a great one!

Since I was a teenager, I have wanted a conservatory as a dining room. Tons of potted trees would be a screen between me and my neighbors.
ReplyDeleteI want one so bad! When we lived in London, they were all over the place. This weekend my In-Law's are coming for a visit. After an entire week of rain...I am not thrilled about this. Since they read my blog...I don't write about them ;).
ReplyDeleteLove it! I don't think it's common here in the frozen north though :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
SO beautiful, Nancy! I would love to have one in my back yard.
ReplyDeleteHappy Memorial Day.

In my dream house I will have one of these. One day...
ReplyDeleteHi Bethany - Thanks for the shout out ;) I love my little, tiny conservatory. I overwinter all my topiary plants and tropicals there. Would like to have a larger one someday. Have a great weekend, friend!! :-) Loi
ReplyDeleteLove the look of steel framed windows. Nancy, you can come to dinner if I ca ride your horses!
ReplyDeleteOhhh..... I couldn't agree more. I love both of these pieces of architecture...... definitely dream worthy. Have a great weekend!
