Cantelope is such a lovely pop of color in these pictures. I'm going on a color consult for a master bathroom and may recommend it. I had suggest the client consider 'something in the coral family' after our conversation. Cantelope may be the perfect color! Thanks Bethany
ReplyDeletelooooooove any shade of pink!
ReplyDeleteLove that sofa. A rose by any other name....
ReplyDeleteCorally pink, black and white...with a hit of gold...is my absolute favourite scheme- love!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Such a perfect shade of orange.
ReplyDeleteThese images are just stunning.
Happy Thursday.

I love that color. I have always associated it with bad '80s style but I am liking its current incarnations.
ReplyDeleteoh my what deliciousness...I used this color so much in 1976...I think I will add a bit of it to my blue master...I love it!
ReplyDeleteI can't say I've noticed it as a trend lately but after seeing these pics I'm totally on board. Love it with a little beige too! Hope you ladies and your lovely readers can stop by and enter my Novica giveaway and help artists from around the world. Headed over to check you out on AT - didn't know!!

these rooms are gorgeous Bethany, but like you I love Coral more - I guess I like it more because it's brighter and happier! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love cantelope...wish I had known to call it that when I was trying to explain my initial visions for the nursery to my husband. Whenever I said pinky-peach he looked concerned :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't used it, but your inspirations pics are certainly convincing that it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeletecrazy for this color combo. never thought to call it cantelope! definitely will keep this in my inspiration files.
ReplyDeleteI've never used this color but I LOVE it! Thanks for your suggestion on my pinks today - I think you are right about the color!
ReplyDeleteStacy
I just found you through Stacy's blog! Just going through your back list of posts, loving. Your post on cantelope was good timing with the pink dilemma. Looking forward to your future post:)
ReplyDeleteI love it and would say my bedroom definitely has hits of Cantelope all in through it. Would love to know a good paint color - Brandy
ReplyDeletehmmmm. not sure about that cantelope but it may grow on moi. I'm off to vote for your room! Congrats lady!
ReplyDeleteI love peaches, pinks and oranges when used as an accent. Our house was covered top to bottom in various shades of peach paint (even the garage and unfinished basement!) - looked like Pepto Bismo! But those gorgeous drapes in that Veranda photo?? Perfection.
ReplyDeleteI like! And you know, Bethany, funny what you say about marinating in the ol' noggin, because I am absolutely convinced that's how trends get started. You see something just enough times that it becomes familiar. And familiarity = like.

I didn't know what cantelope was! old black & white ;-)
ReplyDeleteI would say YES!
I love your last picture, imagine having this bedroom?!
