Have you seen the previews of the Hampton Show House 2012?
I just love a good Show House, don't you? From now until Sept. 3rd you can go visit it in all it's glory if you're lucky enough to live nearby. It's a great chance to meet new designers like Patrik Lonn, one of my new favorites!
Patrik Lonn, of is a designer based in NY and Stockholm. His work is simply elegant and understated.
He uses a lot of black and white art in his room designs, which I love, love, love!
Look at this amazing stairwell screen created to block the stairs from view:
Have a great day friends!

This understated look is really speaking to me lately. I love color but sometimes I'd rather have calm and these spaces fit the bill without being boring.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with the bedroom and the last image. This designer is very talented, Nancy! Pinning.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday.

ReplyDeleteThis house is gorgeous! I am loving the room partition/divider and I wish one day my kitchen will look like that!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Nancy! What and eye for choosing art, thanks for the introduction!
ReplyDeletePatrik's work is outstanding. I agree we will see a lot more of him!!!Wish I were back on the Island. Grew up in Garden City. I would be at the Show House in a heart beat!
ReplyDeleteLovely, chic and understated. I'm also quite intrigued with the amazing art throughout the home - it's well chosen to bring some energy to an otherwise sedate space, which I love. I want to know more about the painting in the 6th photo. It's amazing!
ReplyDeleteI have never been introduced to Patrik but I"m so glad to meet him now. I love the simple, clean design and then the really strong artwork. Really beautiful spaces!
ReplyDeleteLove his contemporary style. Thanks for introducing him.

ReplyDeleteLove thisss! Second to last pic...such a small space, but SO much interest for the eyeballs! My eyes just darted from area to area, and I don't think I could get bored for a long time. Also, LOVE the use of art for the headboard. Super awes!
