Client sneak peak and Friday feature

Just finished a 'soft install' of an office project we've been working on.  Seems like a lot of our business is in Bethany's new town, ....is someone trying to tell me something?  [I am becoming very fond of driving out there and getting to know the quaint town, the friendly people and wonderful shops and eateries.]

Our clients are starting a new business and leased the first floor of an old townhouse that I helped configure into 2 offices and 2 reception areas, from an empty shell.
Here is a sneak peak at some shots around the office.
The conference room has a few watercolors that I painted.  I like to create art for each client we have, as my personal stamp on the project.

My husband made the barn door, some shelving, base cabinets and work center tabletop...so thankful he's handy [and retired]!  We sorely miss our previous installer, our son, Michael. It was our first install since he's moved to Chicago for grad school.  Thank goodness for Bethany, [and her husband's help] though.
We have an absolute blast on install days !

Here's the beverage center we installed in one of the reception rooms.

It has been so much fun working with these clients who have let me pretty much 'do my thing' without any snags.  I did have the main lobby art pieces fall of the wall and break, so one more story to add to my repertoire of designer 'shenanigans'.  Oh, and when my son and I were picking up a desk/armoire off of Craigslist, my truck died and I had to get it towed home 50 miles with the furniture in the back.
[the deal that was no longer a deal]
It's all good now though.

Later this week we will be participating in " How to Create the Perfect Bed" along with 8 other fantastic bloggers.  This is a fun series created by Mary Ann Pickett of Classic Casual Home, and Cindy Hattersley of Rough Luxe Lifestyle.  This series really brings some great vision and depth to subjects like styling your coffee table, refreshing your living room and creating a gallery wall!

     Vintage Contessa

So come back Friday, the 25th, and get some tips for the perfect bed!
 Is there one?

Have a great week!
