My Holiday House Tour

Happy Holidays and welcome to my Christmas home.

I am simplifying this year.

My theme this year is a 'throwback' Christmas where I have done less of a color themed tree and more of our families ornaments over the last 40 years.
We have a 10' scotch pine which, as you probably know, is not great for heavy ornaments, so everything is lightweight and pushed to the inside branches making for a more lovely display at night when the interior details are illuminated.

I haven't had our German wooden pyramid nativity scenes out in years.  I brought out my mother's vintage ceramic tree with those funny plastic colored lights.
I have collections of Santas, Nutcrackers and  Snow Globes.

I wish I could have you in for eggnog, a roaring fire and Christmas music!
I just love this time of year and wish you all the merriest of holidays!

  11. Omg @the nutcracker on the horse! Absolutely curious about that one. I'm still waiting on a large collection of German nutcrackers due to me from my German grandmother, who passed away. It's safe to say that I'm *obsessed* with them, from cheap to highly valued. I will totally
be copycatting your little white plant pots!
