The Rich Man's Light?

Is it me or are sconces upping their games lately?  We have been scouting sconces for a few current projects and there are some majorly affordable options out there. But don't let their small pricetag fool you. They may be less expensive than their big brother, the chandelier, but if you aren't wired for sconces, putting them in in new places is going to cost you!  We love lighting, dare I say more than most other decor components, but adding light where there is not is no cheap game. It does make all the difference in the world if you can swing it though.

Here are some of our current favorite affordable options, to help ease the installation and wiring burden (some are plug-in!):

  6. Some of these look like they're plug-ins so no electrician needed. Where's that accordion one from? Love that!

  9. Totally agree. I have been noticing a lot more sconces in decor these days and am still trying to find a cheap one. I just bought one at IKEA but didn't notice the black chord. It doesn't quite fit with my decor. I should have bought what Tiffany did - hers is really cute from IKEA!

  12. I agree, the wiring costs a lot, so making the commitment to add lighting on the wall should be well-placed & well-thought of for sure!
