Picnic Picks

Summer and the Fourth of July make me think of picnics, how about you?  We are glad to be a part of Red Envelope's Anatomy of a Picnic Guide and hope you stop by and see their fun picnic and home decor items!  Red Envelope is a great source for gifts and I've always found their selections to be more personable and thoughtful than most sites- a definite go-to source for gifts!

Here are some summer images that might inspire you to do something different in the way of dining  al fresco this summer.

Camping gear for the not-so-rugged-camper (like me) has really gotten savvy, hasn't it? I could definitely wrap up some of these for a picnic....

and these Red Envelope wine holders would make blanket bingeing so much fun!

Take along a batch of our favorite punch recipe--it's so easy.  Even non-beer lovers love it!

I hope you have lots of picnics this summer!

  1. The bicycle bar is genius. I fully intend to make the Corona punch. It's similar to my lazy man's Sangria ... 3 bottles of wine (one red and two white is my usual mix), one can each of limeade concentrate and orange juice concentrate, stir in sliced fruit for color and interest. Done!

  8. We have this fun picnic basket that we've had for years and never used! We've vowed this summer to have an outdoor picnic at a special spot - love your inspiration images (especially the one with the storage compartment built into the bike - how cool!) and will definitely have to try your Corona punch!
