What's on Your Walls?

While I am touring Italy at the moment, I am pleased to feature Tiffany from Tiffany Stutzman Design. She sent in some art in her home from a honeymoon trip to Italy in 2010, so I thought it so appropriate to feature her while I was there!  Thank you Tiffany!

Here is a piece she brought from a street vendor in Venice:

She wrote: "What makes this painting so special (besides being from our amazing honeymoon!!) is that my grandmother bought a similar painting of Venice during her travels there with my grandfather back in 1974!  It is so fun to think about touring in the same places 36 years apart!!"

This next  abstract painting reminds her of the Texas flag, and being a Texan uprooted to Louisiana, this reminds her of home!

Here's a gallery wall in her home with some of her original art mixed in. Her husband made some of the frames.

"The final piece of art is a picture I had blown up and framed for my husband's birthday.  It is in the bookcase above our TV.  One of his favorite places to travel has been Cinque Terre, Italy, so I wanted to remind him of something beautiful each time he looked above the TV...even after hours of football!!"
I can so relate Tiffany, being married to a football coach my whole life!

Thank you Tiffany. Hopefully I'll be collecting photos and inspiration to do some painting myself when I return!  Don't forget to check out her blog Tiffany Stutzman Design!
