Powder Room Update III


I am happy to report that the pedestal sink is in and all the finishing work on the floor molding, additional quarter round molding, and it is all painted a crisp white.

    Here is the progress this week!




I researched a great grout cleaning solution and it looks (almost) brand new. 
Just make a paste with baking soda and white vinegar and put on grout and let sit for 10  minutes. Scrub with a brush and rinse clean. I have had a lifetime of clorox fumes that now make me ill so this is great!

    It's looking great! I need to clean my floor tiles and grout...do you think it works on both??

      Yes it does! It is a mild abrasive and cleans tile well, but you can also add peroxide to it for extra whitening! Good luck!

    I do love the look of a pedestal sink. And yes, baking soda and vinegar together or separately are great cleaning aides.

    It is looking fabulous! Oh my gosh your faux painted walls from before matched my bedroom walls...note to selves...try not to get hoodwinked into anything too current or today! Can't wait to see the finsihed room!
