House Beautiful announced their 2013 Fall Color Trends straight from the paint suppliers and here is the line-up:
Behr Tropical Tide 520D-5
"Blue has been a top mover and now greens are edging ahead, and this color is the bridge between them — a beautiful turquoise blue that makes you feel as if you're in a warm, sunny place. It's like an instant getaway." —Erika Woelfel
Pantone Linden Green 15-0533
"Green will continue to be important. We want to celebrate and preserve nature, and green is the first color we see every spring. It's renewable and refreshing. There's hope in green." —Leatrice Eiseman
"Gray has been so popular, and now we're seeing complex grays with an undertone of color. This one has a hint of green. We've gone through a cleansing of the palette—people want quieter surroundings with just a pop of color, and gray works very well with yellow, which is also trending." —Sharon Grech
Glidden Indigo Night GLV 21
"We're all trying to switch off and be quiet. This midnight blue, edging toward purple, is soothing, relaxing, and so enveloping that you can get lost in it. Perfect for those times when you want to escape." —Barbara Richardson
Valspar Salmon Run 2002-6B
"Pastels and pretty colors are coming to the foreground. This coral has the lightheartedness of pink, but it's more sophisticated, with chalky-gray undertones. It has a warm, soft touch that feels very embracing." —Sue Kim

Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue 281
"We seem to go in waves — neutrals, then saturated colors. Right now, I'm drawn to this dramatic blue, so dark it's almost a neutral. We named it after a beach in Norfolk where the mud is this extraordinary blue, and it turns all the cockles and mussels this color. I'd use it with black or pale blue and other silvery, watery shades." —Sarah Cole
Fine Paints of Europe Rain Slicker HO1510
"I got out my crystal ball and it says tart yellow, sweetened with a few drops of orange. This is high-voltage stuff designed for maximum impact. No earthy oxides here! Think wet yellow rubber. Cheap thrills and sweet tarts always win our hearts." —Emmett Fiore
C2 Fusion C2-474
"I'm seeing a lot of toasty grays, with red and yellow undertones. In an uncertain world, you want something with a bit of warmth, so you can nestle into your space and feel cozy and safe." —Tom Hill
Pratt & Lambert Sunspot 11-10
"This is sunny and rejuvenating, a golden yellow the color of a marigold. It feels wholesome and authentic, the kind of color that would bring new life to a room. It reflects the optimism we're feeling." —Donna Schroeder
Sherwin-Williams Classic French Gray SW 007
"We're beiged out, and that's driving the gray palette, which is going mainstream now. Gray is elegant, sophisticated, and it works so beautifully with natural materials like wood and linen." —Jackie Jordan
Pittsburgh Paints Turning Oakleaf ATC-38
"The color we see trending in all markets, from automotive to textiles, is a pale, luminous yellow. Soft, but with real presence and an optimistic, enlightened vibe. It's a feel-good color." —Dee Schlotter
Basically alot of grays and blues with touches of golden yellows..like in this art piece I found on Etsy.
Are you surprised at any of these trends for 2013?

I think the blue/greens have been in vogue for over a decade now. Hardly breaking news! Same with the grays - nothing new there but if it works, it works!
