I'm searching online for inspiration for our next client which we can't wait to share with you and I am dying over these horn sconces from One King's Lane today and this pair of chairs from World Market!
I've come up with this so far:
As you can see inspiration for a design can come from:
favorite art pieces,
a beautiful vintage rug or chair,
or one-of-a-kind sconces!
The leather and wood chair is called the Falcon chair and is in my own collection (from the 70's), but we saw it on 1st dibs as well.
I love to look at tumblr blogs, they have great art!
Those sconces are the coolest. I really like 1st dibs, too. I would be happy to hang out in this room.
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm loving that color scheme with the blues and orange, wood and a bit of black.
ReplyDeleteI love how you're mixing touches of glam with the natural/earthy wood & leather.
ReplyDeleteLove the World Market chairs and could cry over the sea urchin chandy...one of my faves!!!! the whole mix is awesome, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful inspiration. I love the sconces and I never think to look at World Market - those chairs are great!! We used a similar urchin fixture in our stairwell at the beach and it is so fun!
ReplyDeleteI sat in those chairs the other day and loved them!
ReplyDeleteThose WM chairs are fabulous!! Love your mix of styles!
ReplyDeleteI really like this, especially the rug and the art.
