copycat design project


We recently had [possibly the most] interesting inquiry yet!  A prospective client reached out to us for help recreating a sitting room off of her kitchen.  The fun part? She wanted three different 'prototypes' in the style of her favorite three designers!  What fun we had creating these vignettes for her, it was a really cool exercise to think outside of our own boxes.  And some of these designers are our personal role models, as well, so we really enjoyed trying to emulate their style.

Can you guess the famous designer "look" in each one?






Can you guess which one she went with? 

 Hint hint, he has his own TV show!

    Well right away I'd guess Nate for the third photo, but I'm not sure about the other two. She couldn't go wrong with any of these designs, what a fun project!

    I haven't a clue on the designers. I absolutely love the print on the chairs in the first mockup and the striped rug. That's the one I would go with!

    Ohhh I have loved reading all of your comments. Vel - you are on the money! The last one is Nate Berkus! And that's the one she chose! The other two are Jeffrey Alan Marks (1st) and Kathryn Ireland (2nd).
