We survived the move and the heat last Saturday, more than survived actually...these girls are in shape! Bethany and I hiked up 4 flights of stairs a dozen times and we still were energetic! The gym is really paying off...(so proud of you Bethany!)
Mike and Lauren's apartment is seriously cute. Here is how they (we) styled it before we left. Is Powell Brower Interiors contagious?
It is a loft apartment with a master suite upstairs. Lauren is amazingly resourceful - she got that rug on eBay for $24. LOVE IT. I took his cat, Mort, who seemed to be LOVING being with his "person". He adores Mike, and while he loved being at our house (the kids call it 'King's Dominion' since all of their pets think it's like a theme park), we were not his "people". He is doing fine, plus has his little sister there to babysit during the day while the two are at work.
I'm such a proud momma to help my duckling and his wonderful GF get off to a great start. You had to know I'd blog about it kids, sorry!
