In Yo' Face

Mom and I were working on a kitchen design plan over the weekend and she suggested a mirrored tile backsplash.  While I wasn't totally on board (odd, right? considering how much I love a good mirror), I knew it would be really impactful.  But I was having mixed feelings about it being too glam or too in-your-face for a kitchen.

Then I saw this.

Nevermind.  All aboard.

  1. Awesome! I've seen it before in a kitchen (the recent one kings lane post) and it was stellar.

  2. Haha, great for ladies. I don't want to watch myself, but I would love this in a kitchen.

  3. Just goes to show, mom is always right. At least that's what I keep telling my kids - they're not buying it though. I love the antique mirror affect (no idea what that's called) and think that would make a fab backsplash without being too HELLO, ME!

  6. In one of our kitchens we put mirrored tiles directly over the ceramic tiles on the back splash. Magic! And an easy DIY project...the only kind MC can tackle!
