Around the farm

Around the Powell house spring is finally sprung and blossoms are fabulous inside and out! I love to use budding branches indoors, although they don't last too long before they drop all over your table, but they're still awesome.

You see alot about our dogs, but not too often do we post about the horses. This was even hours after we bathed them one beautiful 90 degree day last week.  The grass is coming in now so we have to be cautious in leaving them out on it too long, for fear they will colic, which both of these guys have done in the past. They have to work up gradually to a full day on grass, but they are loving it so much they aren't much interested in store bought grain at the moment!

Enjoy your day friends!

Your farm is beautiful. It must be so wonderful to have the land, privacy and animals. I hope Gibbs is getting along with the horses :)
