even steven

I love how symmetry feels on the eyes.  And symmetry doesn't have to be matchy-matchy.  It can be different and mixed while each end of the scale is balanced.  I do not never-have never-will like matchy-matchy, I do like the balance I feel from an even scale.

  1. I am so big on symmetry. I struggle with that rule of three so often because of this!

  2. Ugh, I like the look of symmetry, but I never know when to stop. It is a lot of place it and remove it for me.

  3. I love both looks ~ perfect for my indecisiveness! :) Rio always tries to get more than one ball in her mouth, for the life of her she can't do it!

  4. I love symmetry, but think as you do. I avoid matchy matchy! Your examples prove it's possible.

  5. I love the dog photo! ha! I like symmetry! In most places....and then of course somewhere something has to be off...maybe an odd number of pillows or something. I think the magic is in the mix of symmetry and asymmetrical.

  8. My favorite thing to do ... complete symmetry ... then throw one thing in just to throw the whole thing "off" a little bit!! xo

  11. I like a mix of symmetry and asymmetry. I don't like things too predictable. Like that last photo. Didn't see that coming.
