I can't do red and green...
Need some alternatives to red and green on your Christmas decorations? I just haven't been one to use that Christmas Red (Pantone 200) in a long time, hence I've elected to use many alternatives like magenta, copper, fuchsia, lime green, etc.
This has been my theme the last few years. I added copper to the teal and lime last year, and as I put things in place this time, Im sure there will be some more frequent redecorating!
Do you use red and green or something different? I'm really going to get into it this weekend!

I'm not a fan of red either. I left all the items with red and santa in the attic this year, but my son keeps asking me where they are. Looks like some red is going to have to make an appearance.
ReplyDeleteYour home looks absolutely magnificent! I love the colors, they are so gorgeous and flow right into the spaces.....
ReplyDeleteLove the Teal....and the Lime....So fresh and New!
i'm with you...anything but! haha It's so fun to use other colors! teal, greens. Even pinks and magentas. Whites and limes. Can't wait to see the decorations!
ReplyDeleteI change my mind every year. This year I went with white, silver and gold.
ReplyDeleteI love that teal and lime green pic! Those are beautiful colours.
ReplyDeleteI think that pinks and creams and golds with maybe some black would be a gorgeous and unexpected combination as well!
I can't wait to see your place all done up. Happy Decorating! xo
You know I went SOLID GOLD this year and I love it! next year though, I may be more adventurous with my color choice - depending which ornaments I get to grab on sale after this xmas season! Lol! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis year I am into gold, black and white. I don't do much inside, mostly outside.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what I'm going to do....I just don't have the right inspiration yet. Something has got to click in my brain soon.....
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all the other colors. Unfortunately, we have mostly red and white ornaments in the family room. But I have silver, white and turquoise in the living room.
ReplyDeleteI love all colors, so I am easily pleased at Christmastime. These images are absolutely stunning, and I love your choices, Nancy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday.

Well, I don't do traditional red and green myself. The past few years have been turquoise and silver or moss and raspberry. This year I'm doing my vintage white tabletop tree in different shades of green and some gold. Good luck with your decorating!
