I'm ready for another project 'push'! I've been asked to participate in this DIY challenge involving 12 bloggers from around the country! We all need a little deadline to make us finish a project and ours is April 19th! Yikes! Thanks to Linda at My Crafty Home Life for setting this up. I've picked my breakfast room that has been in limbo for a long time.....
It's time to reupholster these sad Mid Century Modern chairs:
Replace this light fixture:
(here's a peak of the laundry room to the left which is my next BIG makeover -- these photos really are embarrassing!)
Add white drapery panels with a patterned trim to replace the aluminum mini-blinds - yuck!
Add an accent rug under the table and a valance at the kitchen sink to coordinate:
Possibly even a new pendant light? I am excited about the reveal...can't wait!
Even though the challenge starts today, I won't be able to start making a mess and getting out the sewing machine 'til after Easter.. I'm having a big brunch and Easter egg hunt here!
