What Im really a sucker for is baby bunnies.. Easter is a good excuse to post these babies.....

I do have a lot of rabbits in our yard, but I never seem to see the babies.  But there is an Easter Egg Hunt at the Powell house  today, so here are some pictures from last year, with updates next week.  I've been madly mulching for weeks trying to get it all ready, and it looks pretty good, I must say.  Too bad the freshness of the mulch lasts about two weeks, then turns to driftwood-looking gray.  I should spray it with clear gloss- that's a DIY project! 

  The adults ( and dogs )  really get into the egg hunt and it has become a favorite for the nieces, nephews and grandparents alike. Here are some pictures of recent years.. even the dogs get into finding eggs!  We hide over 100 eggs, and end up finding them randomly throughout the year... pretty funny!
