Last week, while the hubby was away on a business trip, I camped out at mom's to watch girlie movies. It was kinda like the ultimate indulgence. We drank tea and ate Belgian chocolates and it felt like a mini-getaway. One of the flicks we watched was 'A Good Year' and I cannot stop thinking about Marion Cotillard's effortless outfit at the end. I couldn't find a full shot, but she had a black shirtdress, black lace-up espadrilles and a straw bag.
I want to recreate this, but first, I need a good wedge. Or espadrille.

The hot pink is so sassy! But black and khaki are classic, you might need to buy more than 1 pair;)
ReplyDeleteWith 3 young kids, I prefer flats over wedges/heels these days. I like the navy wedge though.

ReplyDeleteI had never bought shoes at Target until last year--found the CUTEST pair of wedge sandals on sale for cheapo! This year, I wanted to get another pair of wedges so went right to Target online and found some adorable strappy wedges in coral, turquoise, black and other pretty colors and at a great price. Love the pictured hot pink model, by the way. :) Melinda

ReplyDeleteThat is one of my favorite movies!!! I watched it again last night for the 150th time. I want that bag sooo bad. I can't seem to find one that sturdy. Any idea where that bag came from?
