Lonny and(erson) Guest Posting

I kept telling Mom last night how badly the August issue of Lonny is just killin' it.  She rolled her eyes and told me I was being a bit obsessive, after I made her pour through each page with me, print some vignettes out, and then kept talking about how fabulous some of the rooms were.  I mean, I  re-read it a couple of times and then I went on and on (and on) about a couple key shots that had me reelin'.  Like this one.

I just can't get over how much I love it.  She used marbled paper sheets from Paper Mojo on an ordinary, builder's grade, dare I say non-updated bathroom and look at the effect.  Who cares that the light is circa 1978 or that there's nothing fancy schmancy about any of the fixtures.  The marble paper speaks volumes.  I'm doing this somewhere.  Mark my words.

Before I get carried away again, we're guest posting over at Sadie + Stella's spot today about our favorite room that we've designed.  Since it's top of mind, I bet you can guess which that is!  Stop by and check it out!

I'll be back with more Lonny madness tomorrow when I tell you how much I love one of the particular vignette shots.  Wait for it....

  13. Those marbled papers are insanely cool. They totally made the room. You really don't need much else to make a room pop! Great guest post at S+S.
